Christopher Liebold came to the firm in January of 2016 as a law clerk. Chris grew up in Green Springs, Ohio where he played soccer, ran track and participated in 4-H, serving as Sandusky County Jr. Fair King in 2008. As a senior in High School he participated in the United States Senate Youth Program which is an exclusive week long excursion in Washington DC. While participating in the program Chris got to the meet the late Senator George Voinivich, President Barack Obama, and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Chris then graduated from Fremont Saint Joseph Central Catholic in 2010 having served as Senior Class President and went on to Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. In College Chris served as President of the Student Senate, was an intern on Capitol Hill to Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and ran 4 years of Cross Country and Track and Field in the NCAA Division 2 GLIAC. Chris took multiple classes abroad and studied in Rome, Venice, and Florence, Italy. He graduated Cum Laude with degrees in Environmental Studies and Political Science and wrote his honors thesis on Gerrymandering. Chris is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law and took the Ohio Bar exam in February 2020.

He lives in the Birchard Historic Neighborhood with his wife Erin (Messerly) and their two Berniedoodles Caius, and Maximus. Chris is active in his community, belonging to Fremont Exchange Club, as an assistant Jr. High Track Coach at SJCC, he is a member of the Board of Misty Meadows, and is a licensed OHSAA & USSF Soccer official. Chris also is politically active, he, was elected Sandusky County Democratic Party Chair in 2017, he represents the 4th Ward of Fremont on City Council and is currently running for State Representative for the 88th House District
